I DID IT! We are BOOKED for London!
okay ladies i made 2 reservations cause i couldnt figure out how to book one with different amounts of people different nights.
We're staying at HOSTEL 63...very cheap ya'll, woot!
on may 20, there are 3 beds booked on my card (how does that work? hopefully you can put the rest on yours). its under NATALIES name and i put down your UCLA email, so check that i guess.
.okay, the 21-22 I booked 6 beds. That's under my name.
okay i think thats it...i got the cheapest they had avilable.
so nat, na, mel, are good for 3 nights total, with shar, kels, and me joining on the 21 and 22.
oy, how gross is it with all our names abbreviated and cute? ick.

London Calling! Plans! Places!
hey friendlies, Here is Pearl's advisory for London!! woot! Sooo...all nighter Friday ya'll??
Let's find a hostel just for Wednesday and Thursday, then... north or east London! please post hostel preferences, or feel free to book/put down the 10% deposit on 3-6 beds (is melanie with us? do kels and shar have somewhere else to stay?) in a place if you can- we'll pay you back!

so yes. an all-nighter is for sure possible in london. some clubs stay open til 7am. but actually - a friend of mine today told me about a night on the 23rd - the night before you go to amsterdam. it's at a cool club we used to go to called the end. it will be open til around 6 or so. and you could probably leave your bag in the cloak room and leave the club at 4 and get a taxi to your train?
we'll see. so you get here on a wednesday right? maybe we can do something chilled on the thursday night like dinner / drinks / generally see london and meet my friends, and then go out on the friday night for a big one? or whatever you wanna do. i'll probably be working in the days though.
good neighbourhoods.... hmmmmmm. i'd say you'd want to be either north or east. south is too far and not the safest and west can be kinda dead. so somewhere like brick lane/old street (in east london) is fun and lively. or camden/islington (north london) would be good too. there are so many hostels scattered about i'm sure - probably mainly in central london. does tottenham court road ring any bells? i think there is a big YMCA there? but if you have any troubles and need to crash at mine for a night or on the friday night just let me know.
i guess it might be fun to be in a hostel. i love them - always a good way to mingle / settle in to a new place, meet people etc. just try and book a relaxed kinda place that will let you back in at any hour of the night!
oh and the weather here is absolutely fantastic right now. like warm and sunny and beautiful. i really want it to hold out for you guys!

AMSTERDAM, the 27th...
I'm lookin' at Hostel/ Hotel choices...
there's the "Hostel the Globe Centre" where we can get private rooms! A room with 6 beds is $281 (US dollars), 5 beds is 273, and 4 beds is $187! What do you think? Think we can sneak 2 others in?
